![]() The Best Of Phil Lynott And Thin Lizzy has 15 tracks & you can trust that the usual suspects are all here as per usual which include Lizzy first hit single “”Whiskey In The Jar””, “”The Boys Are Back In Town””, Don’t Believe A Word”” and “”Sarah”” but it was nice to include “”Parisienne Walkways”” (featuring Gary Moore) and the Thunder And Lightning track “”Cold Sweat”” one of Thin Lizzy most powerhouse tunes as they closed their career with a bang. To be fair to Tel Star, the tiny record label who licensed these tracks, they were prepared to go that bit further and do a television campaign to promote this album which came a year after Phil Lynott, Thin Lizzy enigmatic front man, passing. Besides the song writing credits, the only information provided regarding the often over-looked Thin Lizzy, is a chronological chart which illustrates the Lizzy line-ups from 1972 through 1983. There are no liner notes included with this disc. ![]() The Best of Phil Lynott and Thin Lizzy: Soldier Of Fortune (Telstar TCD 2300 / 1987) is a solid collection of strong Lizzy songs, plus Lynott solo material.Ġ9 Rosalie / Cowgirl Song / Cowboy Song / The Boys Are Back in Town (live medley)
